Monkey Envy
The She Monkey and I had a nice meal over at ad monkey Omar and Heather’s house last night. Omar and his partner Terry (who’d make a good initiate into our so-painful-it’s-almost-great Padre camping group) had a project with Shepard Fairey and he scored a cool, signed print of Andy Kaufman (appearing as Tony Clifton) from him.
I’m totally jealous. If I were ever vain and wealthy enough to commission a portrait (ok, I’m vain enough), I’d want Fairey to create it, not least of all because he’s my age and graduated the same year as me (and look what he’s done). Perhaps my portrait would be in the nude. Or at least wearing a Stetson. Anyway, I’d have Fairey do it.
So, Omar, if your print ever comes up missing, don’t bother looking for it here. Or at least not upstairs in my office, o.k.?

Actually, I re-touched both our beer bellies: mine I made smaller, yours I made larger. It’s my site; on yours I expect I’ll look like a balding, pregnant walrus.
And fuck me!– about Terry’s name. I swear that’s the second time I’ve done that. I guess I’m trying to make him less metrosexual. Corrected. Thanks.
