Attack of the She Monkeys
We’re back home and trying to catch up on a backlog of work.
I spent the day in the studio watching over the production of a video for presentation at a Gatorade summit later this week in Chicago.
And, in other, non-ad-jungle-related news, the She Monkey had a sonogram today. Essentially, I was hoping for ten fingers and ten toes… and at least one super power (invisibility would be nice).
We also learned that, in addition to everything being “normal” (as normal as things can be, given the Papa Monkey is a creative guy who, um, had an interesting college experience), we learned there will be an additional Wee She Monkey added to the household.
Not needing much encouragement to have a party on any given day, this day, of course, called for one. We had friends over and annnounced the Wee She development.
A good time was had by all (in the sweltering Texas heat).
Tomorrow? I finish up the video and begin purchasing guns and shells for the eventual day when male suitors come a’calling.
The way I figure it, I only have to shoot the first one; the rest will catch on quickly thereafter.
